BESLUX GEARSYNT XP is a gear oil based on 100% synthetic PAO (polyalphaolefin). It is designed to provide optimal lubricant life and protect equipment from wear and corrosion even in the most extreme operating conditions.
The PAO-based technology used in the manufacture of BESLUX GEARSYNT XP gives the lubricant excellent properties against oxidation and thermal degradation. It also has a naturally high viscosity index, which allows it to operate over a wide temperature range without sudden changes in viscometer properties. Good low-temperature flow properties are also highlighted thanks to the low freezing point of BESLUX GEARSYNT XP. The low coefficient of friction of this product, combined with the viscometer properties and high viscosity index, provides significant energy savings compared to the results obtained with conventional mineral-based lubricants.
BESLUX GEARSYNT XP contains selected and technically advanced additives designed to reduce wear and protect against unwanted gear wear such as scoring and micro-pitting fatigue wear, also known as grey spotting. Compared to conventional mineral-based lubricants, BESLUX GEARSYNT XP adds base oil properties to the additive properties, resulting in longer lubricant drain intervals, better corrosion protection and protection of mechanisms in harsh environmental conditions such as salty environments. In addition, it shows excellent properties at both high and low temperatures and is compatible with non-ferrous metals.
The formulation of BESLUX GEARSYNTH XP with PAO makes it compatible with mineral-based gear oils or similar synthetic products based on polybutene or ester.
BESLUX GEARSYNT XP is used in all types of closed-case industrial transmissions where the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) requires a lubricant of the DIN 51517 p3 (CLP) type. It is not suitable for hypoid transmissions used in the automotive industry.
BESLUX GEARSYNT XP has passed the most demanding laboratory tests even under the most severe conditions. Practical tests on customer equipment also confirm the good composition of the product.
The tests were carried out in industries such as the metal industry, cement industry, plastics industry, energy industry (wind turbines) and paper industry. The excellent results obtained make this product the best for transmission applications. BESLUX GEARSYNT XP is mainly used in gearboxes, bearings, speed multipliers and reducers that must comply with the standards U.S. STEEL 224 and AGMA 9005-F16. In addition, BESLUX GEARSYNT XP meets the requirements of the following major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs): FLENDER, BROOK-HANSEN and POLYSIUS EQUIPMENT.
